About
I am an assistant professor at the DePaul University School of Public Service in Chicago where I teach courses in public policy analysis, cross-sector analysis, and human resource management for public and nonprofit organizations. I completed my Ph.D. in the School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Georgia where I took my major exams in the areas of organizational theory and behavior, public administration and management, and policy analysis and process, and completed my dissertation on the environmental and organizational drivers that promote or inhibit the climate for innovation in public and nonprofit organizations. My work has appeared in Public Administration Review, Handbook of Decision Making (John Wiley & Sons), and Leadership in Nonprofit Organizations (Sage). My research and teaching interests are in public and nonprofit management, collaborative governance, organizational and management innovation, and social innovation.
