About
I am an Assistant Professor of New Media and Technology at DePaul University. I recently graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Ph.D. in Communication and Rhetoric, and have concentrated my research on the intersection of New Media, Technology, Popular Culture, and Cultural Studies My work uncovers the philosophic and ontologic meaning of New Media by exploring the communal production of fans and other media users. I also teach and use Digital Video production, and integrate practical, hands-on media in my classroom.
